Follow every meeting, in your language.
Nani? listens to your meetings and shows translated subtitles live, like an interpreter at your side. It explains what a literal translation would miss, and tells you when someone's asking you.

On-device where it matters most
Instant translation uses a model that runs on-device, and speakers are recognised by a voice model on your Mac, so voice prints are never uploaded. Only speech recognition and enhanced translation use the cloud, and we keep none of it.

Questions
Do the other participants see anything?+
No. Nani? doesn't join the meeting; it listens to the audio your Mac plays. Some places and workplaces require you to tell people when a meeting is transcribed, so please follow the rules that apply to you.
Is my meeting recorded or stored?+
We never receive your audio and we don't store what's said. Audio goes from your Mac straight to our speech recognition provider, and sentences go through our servers to our translation provider without being saved. The transcript stays on your Mac until you export it or reset it. The Privacy Policy has the details.
What counts as meeting time?+
The time subtitles are running. Pausing stops the clock. If the meeting audio and your microphone run at the same time on one Mac, that time counts once.
What happens when I run out?+
Subtitles stop, and the app tells you why. Your allowance resets at the start of your next month, or you can upgrade or (on a paid plan) top up 5 hours straight away.
How accurate is it?+
It's very good, but it's machine translation of live speech: names, numbers and quiet speakers can come out wrong. For anything important, such as contracts, figures or medical or legal advice, check with the speaker.
How do I cancel?+
In the app, open Settings → Account → Manage Billing. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for, then you move to Free. See Refunds & Cancellation for the details.
Which Macs does it run on?+
It needs macOS 26.4 or later on a Mac with Apple silicon. There's no Windows or iPhone version yet.
